Megan Rose is my latest reborn baby created from the wonderful “Celine” sculpt by the very talented Evelina Wosnjuk.

 

I bought this sculpt over the web as it looked lovely,  but once I received it I am over moon with the open a and beautiful face the baby has.  I have gone for a light colouring on her as she only need subtle tones to flatter this adorable doll.

Here is my latest baby looking for a new mum currently being auctioned on Ebay.

This little girl has been created from the ”New Born Wonder” sculpt by the very talented Joanna Gomes.
She is a true “pretty in pink” and i’m sure she’ll make a great reborn adoptee for a doll collector.

I make dolls that look like real babies.

 

My hobby is making reborn dolls.  If you have never heard of this, its making vinyl baby dolls as lifelike as possible so they look like real babies.

 

Some people are shocked when they see my work, I have been labelled weird, strange and odd, but like every thing in life everyone reacts differently. One person thinks they are incredible and start to collect straight away whist others run a mile!! Personally since the moment I stumbled on reborns I loved them and thought of this as a wonderful form of art. 

 

Reborn artistry takes along time to perfect. Reborning techniques are constantly changing and as an artist I am always trying new things to create the most lifelike babies I can. 

Sometimes collecters prefer there dolls to have a smooth complexion but now it is becoming more and more popular to have dolls with mottled skin and veins. It’s not just a process of slapping on a bit of paint and glueing a wig to a doll. It actually takes many coats of carefully applied specialist paints, while the hair is pain stakingly hand rooted, strand by strand with a needle.

 

The reborn artistry community relies on Ebay auctions to provide the audience of collectors to view and bid on our dolls. Collectors log on from all over the world to bid on our finished creations. Some dolls have sold for over $10.000 which shows the demand is unique and at times breath taking.

 

So if you wish take a peak into the world of reborn doll making, its a love or hate thing, its up to you.

This beautiful little girl has been reborned from the 2006 euro berenguer sleeping sculpt.  I love her fine baby finish and also really adore doing this Sculpt as berenguer still make some of the best dolls to reborn.

Look who I found in the bramble patch!!!!
I have truly enjoyed creating this gorgeous little fairy baby!! 

 She is reborned from the delightful “Raven” sculpt by Shawna Clymer.

This lovely little Fairy is from a limited edition of 150 worldwide and is therefore very collectable.

I have worked on so many different babies but have to say, this sculpt is my absolute favourite!

My latest baby which is currently being auctioned on ebay is called Lucy.

She is made from The Pat Secrist Sculpt “Honey”.  This baby is 18 inches long and approximately 5 pounds in weight.

I think she is a real cutie and have replaced the original eyes with better quality masterpiece glass versions which have made a big difference.

Baby Erin is my latest Reborn Baby, she is created from the “Tasha Eden Holme” Ember sculpt. 

This doll is made from a real feel vinyl which is very soft and also lovely to work with.

She’s a very realistic newborn scult with fine detailed hands and feet.  She is a true joy to reborn and her new mum should be very happy wih her.

 I am currently working on a masterpiece Doll by Shawna Clymer called Tabitha.

Tabitha is now sold out as there are only 350 of this sculpt worldwide.

She is a real sweetheart and I’m sure will be lovely when reborned.

The other Doll I am expecting very soon and am very excited about is the Raven Fairy Doll Kit which is also created by Shawna Clymer.

This is a unique doll perfect for reborning and has Angel Pixie Ears.

This should be available withing a few weeks,  below is a picture of this wonderful doll, which happens to be my favorite sculpt at the moment.

We would just like to thank people for the positive and encouraging comments about our featured article in the UK magazine “Womans Own”.

Baby Lewis is one of my latest babies which is on auction at the time of writing Here

 

This baby was created from the discontinued Carry Me Sculpt. 

 

He has had the usual “treatment” done such as hand micro rooted hair and eye lashes. 

 

I really loved putting this baby together as this scuplt is one of my favourites and always get a good response from mums, when they receive this bouncing baby.
